Made in France circa 20th century. A wonderful gilt brass case ornate with scrolled leaves and flowers, full of details. The hand-painted porcelain scene depicts a pair of lovers sitting on the grass. Urn-shape porcelain in the top that carries the same flourish foliage decor. This is a typical type of French mantel clock made in 19th to 20th centuries, the painted porcelain mainly depicts a scene of lovely young couple.
