19th Century French Mantel Clock with Garnitures

Made circa late 19th century. Gilt brass and decorated with champlevé enamel.
A cupola type clock, the drum case supported by three Corinthian columns to each side above a circular plinth base. Two Sphinx sitting upon columnar pedestals inside the domed pavilion-shaped garnitures. This kind of clock is commonly designed in a set and placed on the mantel.
