Functions: jumping hours window displayed at 12 o’clock, Papillon® (Butterfly) minutes and chronograph. 

The minute is indicated by two blued steel patented pivoting-head rotating minute hands attached to a rose gold disc at the center of the dial. The actual minutes are read on half a circle at the bottom half of the main dial. The blued steel hands rotate on an axial attached to the rotating disc. As the new hour begins the blued steel hand rotates to become a pointer, with the outgoing "hand" on the opposite side swiveling to fold-away and aligns straight with the disc.

Bulgari was an exclusive jewelry brand since 1884, and produced branded watches since the 1950s. In 1982, Bulgari Time was founded as a watch maison within the larger Bulgari house, focused on producing the Bulgari Roma (1975) and Bulgari Bulgari watch designed by Gerald Genta (1977). and in 2000, it acquired the brands, Gerald Genta, and Daniel Roth, they soon discontinued the Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth brands, incorporating their pieces into the Bulgari brand as "collections" rather than standalone nameplates in 2010.
