Made in 2008, 38 mm, 18K yellow gold case. This wristwatch is a unique hand-carved piece specially crafted by Mei Hua for the 2008 Baselworld. The creative inspiration for this timepiece comes from ancient Greek mythology and is named "Athena." Athena is the goddess of peace and war in Greek mythology, symbolizing wisdom and peace. This wristwatch beautifully portrays the resolute and graceful qualities of Athena, the goddess of peace and war, capturing her strength and elegance.

The dial is 1.6 mm thick, and both the dial and the upper plate are intricately carved using deep relief techniques (up to 1.5 mm deep). The dial, base plate, upper plate, balance bridge, pallet cock, case, crown, and the buckle of the wristwatch are all made of 18K yellow gold. The carving process for this wristwatch took nearly nine months, involving approximately 19 million cuts. The craftsmanship and artistic expression displayed on this wristwatch are unparalleled, making "Athena" the most remarkable piece in its category，and this watch was the highest priced domestic one in China that year.
