19th Century Chinese Market Gilt Brass Painted Enamel Pocket Watch
Made circa 1880 in Switzerland. 45mm diameter, Gilt brass open-face case, bezel, bow, and pendant set with pearls. Polychrome enamel painting depicts two ladies holding with a flower basket in the garden, specially made for the Chinese market. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, blue steel spade hands, center seconds. Gilded highly decoratively engraved Chinese caliber, lateral lever escapement, plain flat three-arm steel balance, standing barrel.
