Made in Geneva circa 1943, signed“Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve”, 60.3mm. silver open-face chronometer, Arabic numerals, spade metal hands, and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’ clock. The movement is engraved with the 'Broad Arrow', suggesting that this Chronometer was a British munitions item at the time. Cut bimetallic compensated balance, swan-neck regulator with micrometric screw.
