Made in Switzerland circa 1960, 51.9mm, gilded metal, round-shaped, open-face. Silver color metallic dial, with 24-hour (AM-PM) outer ring and World Time fluted bidirectional revolving bezel engraved with the names of 67 major cities of the World. Case-back satin-finished.
Movement 11’’’ ½, keyless-winding, rhodium-plated, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, Glucydur screw-balance, and self-compensating flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator with swan-neck spring and micrometric screw.

Luxor Watch and Clock Company, Le Locle, Switzerland. Le Locle is one of the most important “watch cities” in Switzerland.
From 1935 to 1987, at number 20 rue Alexis-Marie Piaget, in Le Locle was the watchmaker of Luxor Watches SA, founded by Jean Hermann Brunner. This company has produced small table clocks and pocket watches with World Time indication, sold since the end of the 1950s, under many names, for example, Luxor, Brilux, but also Hermès, Paris, or Gübelin, Luzern / Lucerne. Some of the table clocks were equipped with an eight-day movement, with or without alarm. Many exceptional pieces, enjoying an international reputation, were produced in his workshop until its merger with the brand Zenith International SA. In 1905, the architect F. Maspoli realized for Louis Sandoz-Vuille this complex mixed-housing factory.
