Tiffany Five-Minute Repeater Pocket Watch

Made in Switzerland circa 1900, 43mm，18K gold open-face case. The thickness of the white enamel dial is only 0.8mm, it could be the thinnest white enamel dial in the world so far.

Functions: hours, minutes, and five-minute repeating activated by a slide.

There are two types of the five-minute repeater, this one is striking every hour and every five minutes without striking the quarters.

Five-minute repeater

This system strikes the hour, quarter-hour, and five-minute intervals on two tones, meaning these two notes can be heard up to eleven times in an hour.

As you can see in the video, it’s 11:49(Note: not yet 11:50), the watch strikes 11 times in low-tone to indicate the hours, and then strikes 9 times in high-tone to indicate the minutes.
