Produced circa 2011, 39.5mm, 18K white gold, self-winding caliber L.U.C 96. HM. The dial with Japanese lacquering depicts a goldfish pattern. Japanese artist Kiichiro Masumura and Minori Koizumi created this dial for Chopard based on the time-honored lacquering techniques of Urushi and Maki-e. A combination of traditional horology and the ancestral art of Japanese lacquering.
It was formerly collected by Mr. Alain Chung. We honor the memory of Mr. Alain Chung.
Brand History:
Louis-Ulysse Chopard established L.U.C in the Swiss village of Sonvillier in 1860. The company quickly became known for its beautifully crafted, ultra-thin and highly precise pocket watches. It is still an independent family firm.
