Brand History

Manufacture IWC, established in 1868 in Schaffhausen by American Engineer Florentine Ariosto Jones. F.A. Jones used to be deputy director and manager with the E. Howard Watch and Clock Co., one of the best watchmaking firm in America，his business plan was: “Combining all the excellence of the American system of mechanism with the more skillful hand labor of the Swiss. “During its long history as an independent firm, it has countless exploits to its name in the field of grande complications, and also a pioneer in pilot's watches. In 2000, IWC joined the Richemont Group.
