Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, moon phases and power reserve indicator on the case back. The “mysterious” balance is found offset at 3 o’clock.

Made by independent watchmaker Vincent Bérard. Luvorene is an anagram of “Révolune”, a combination of the French word “réve”, “lune”, “révolution”, which stands for dream, moon, and revolution. 

Brand History

Vincent Bérard trained as a watchmaker and repairer at the École de la Vallée de Joux, following which he joined the Musée International de l'Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds as a restorer of antique timepieces. He got fame by making an incredibly beautiful pocket watch, the Quartre Saisons Carrosse (Four Seasons). Widely regarded as an expert in the art of complications, he established his own company, Vincent Bérard SA, in 2003.
