Made in 2022, with an overall height of 56 mm, the sculpture itself measures only 20 mm. It is made of 18K yellow gold and 18K white gold, adorned with 6 rubies, 4 demantoids, 2 sapphires, and 80 diamonds.
The Yellow Jambhala, known as Yellow Wealth God in Chinese, or " Dzambala Tsepo" in Tibetan, is a protective deity in Tibetan Buddhism and the foremost among all wealth deities. It represents the embodiment of all wealth deities and manifests in different forms of five-colored wealth deities. It holds a significant position in Tibetan Buddhism and is revered by various sects.
The Buddha’s body, the chased decoration with lotus scrolls, and the inner frame are all made of 18K yellow gold, while the outer frame components are made of 18K white gold. The combination of these two tones adds richness and depth to the overall piece, and the hardness of 18K yellow gold ensures the intricate details are less susceptible to wear and tear. The hardness of the 18K yellow gold outer frame protects the intricate details of the work from wear and tear. The front of the frame is set with 80 natural diamonds, while the mandorla and sides of the frame are set with 6 natural rubies, 4 demantoids, and 2 natural sapphires.
The beaded chain with chased scrolls is made of 925 silver and the spacers between the beads are made of 18K yellow gold and top-grade lapis lazuli in the shape of a phurba. The end of the chain is adorned with a gold-carved lotus-shaped mirror. At the center of the mirror is a custom-made magnifying glass that allows a closer examination of the work’s exquisite details.
The intricate carvings of this artwork require nearly a thousand hours of craftsmanship. Its decorative elements are luxurious, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. The proportions are well-balanced, and the sculpture exudes a vibrant and majestic aura that is truly awe-inspiring.
