Made in 2023, 42 mm, 18K gold case. Inspired by the Twelve Animal Heads of the Old Summer Palace in Beijing, the artwork reduces the intricate details of each head to a mere 3 mm in size. Old Summer Palace, a renowned imperial garden in Beijing's western suburbs during the Qing Dynasty. Within the Old Summer Palace, there is a set of animal head sculptures representing the twelve Chinese zodiac signs, making them the most iconic and representative depictions of the zodiac.

Mei Hua, with her exquisite craftsmanship, meticulously carves each animal head with astonishing realism, capturing even the finest details of the animals' fur. Even when magnified several times, the craftsmanship remains exceptionally beautiful.

At the center of the dial lies a majestic dragon, twists and turns in the middle of the dial, vividly bringing it to life. As a legendary creature in ancient Chinese mythology, the dragon symbolizes prestige, power, accomplishment, and auspiciousness, making it one of the most revered zodiac symbols.

The entire 18K gold watch case is adorned with hand-carved patterns, showcasing both artistic beauty and the luxurious elegance of a high-end timepiece.
