18th Century English Ebonized Musical Bracket Clock

Made circa 1760, retailed in Amsterdam, sign Jacob Waten, Amsterdam on the dial. Size: 65cm x 41cm x 30cm.
Ormolu-mounted ebonized case, the bell-top case is applied with brass floral and foliate mounts, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring, date aperture, mock pendulum and moon phase to arch, silvered tune selection above, a selection lever to either side of the dial (one for strike/no strike), a three-train gut-fusee movement with verge escapement, playing 6 tunes on thirteen bells via twenty-four hammers and striking the hour on a large bell, also strikes the half-hour, well-executed floral engraving on back-plate.
