Gilt Brass Musical Mantel Canton Clock

Made in Guangzhou, during the Jia-Qing Reign, Qing dynasty (1760-1820). Size: 41cm x 22cm x 15cm. Gilt brass case with floral, leaves, pineapple and cicada mounts. White porcelain dial, the bezel set with paste stones in different colors. Full engraved English movement with 9 bells and 9 bells, duplex escapement, strike the hour on a single bell and chime on every quarter on eight bells. Only very few clocks with similar types that can be found in China for Canton Clock.
